Hi all ,

I want to use messaging service in a web application. However, the web
hosting company I subscribe to does not support ejb but only servlet and
jsp. So is there any light weight alternative to mdb ?

Thanks.

Can't you just use an embeddable JMS server such as OpenJMS or UberMQ?
Why do you need MDB's to do messaging??? Complete overkill for most things.
