Default Clean uninstall????

Hiya all.
I was having problems with my Internet provider and messed up my
registry editor. Got that back but then my Firefox browser is a mess. I
tried uninstalling then reinstalling but the browser "itself",(NOT the
web pages) is a slew of mumbo jumbled words at the top. Thunderbird
seems to have been unaffected. Any ideas? I`m thinking I should do a
complete uninstall manually of Mozilla but not sure at this point.
Any help??Thanks in advance.....
