can write a xmlhttp which could beyound the web area limtied ?

i want to get xml data by xmlhttp in my ajax program, but the xml file
is not on my web,i do not want write a aspx proxy program neither,
could i write a activex instead if xmlhttp ,use c++, help
me..............
