I just downloaded Firefox 1.0.4 onto my Win 2000 system. A problem
that I ran into fairly quickly was that the browser would hang when I
clicked on the "Go" pull-down menu (and occasionally on the "View"
pull-down menu.

Looking at the task manager, I see that the firefox process has got high
CPU usage (upper 90s range), it's CPU time is going up very quickly and
steadily and that its memory usage is rising rapidly.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there some sort of fix for this condition?

Never mind. I went in and cleared out the history and now it works ok.
It looks like Firefox didn't like something in the history file that
it imported from Netscape.
