ASP Net - A walkthrough bug

I'm exploring a walk through for ASP.Net
It errors out at the last step with the following message

The request failed with HTTP status 401: Access Denied.

line 45 Dim results() As Object = Me.Invoke("GetAuthors", New Object(-1)
{})

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm very new at this
Any help would be appreicated.
