I stumbled across this today. I am sure a lot of you know this but it
may help some who don't. In Firefox if you go to Bookmarks/Manage Bookmarks and create a new folder called Start Up and place it at the top of the folders, it creates a new row of tabs at the top of the Web page in which you can put your favourite sites in by placing them in the Start Up folder. The sites open when Firefox first opens so you can have your favourite sites ready and open at the start. Once you have selected your sites you then need to go to Options\General\Home Page and select Use Bookmark.... Also if you download the extension Tab browser preferences ver1.1.1 each of the new tabs will open just by placing your mouse across the tab. The only problem that I have found is that you can't rename the sites so you are limited to about six. If anyone has a fix for this I would appreciate it, although I suspect it has something to do with the selection of Use Bookmark... I don't know why they didn't make this standard as it is one of the best features of Firefox. -- So long and thanks for all the fish. graeme@invalid |

Responded in another group that this isn't working for me. -- Ed Mullen http://edmullen.net http://edmullen.net/moz.html If you had everything, where would you keep it? Ed Mullen |
