Firefox flash player constant crashing

Using Firefox 18.0.1 in Windows XP. Have done clean installs of flash
player after using their removal utility, many times. Might have
something to do with plug-in container. The thing crashers like
crazy.

Anything wrong with going back to an older version of Firefox?
