I keep a 2X teleconverter in my Nikon outfit but rarely use it. It is
the Kenko Pro 300 2X converter and it operates autofocus with both
AF-S Silent Wave and AF screwdriver drive Nikkors.

Optically, it is better than the Nikon 2X which only offers autofocus
with AF-S lenses.
