Javascript issue with Opera7: Back/Forward buttons
Hello group,
Quite simplified, Ive got a javascript for a page where the URL contains perl variables for a perl script, eg www.blabla.com sample?test=yes&color=blue&tv=on. I then use a javascript to strip the script variables (test=yes, color=blue,tv=on) and store them in a temp array. This is done each time the page is loaded. And the script works for every browser except Opera7.X. The problem with Opera7.X happens when a user uses back/forward, and "old" variables are still stored in the array. This sometimes produce false results. So somehow I should make a "forced" page reload when using back forward buttons also. Any suggestions how to do this? Ive tried document.reload() but that didnt work the way I expected. Thanks, and cheers for any suggestions! |
