Questions about spam and other stuff
Hi, these questions are part of assignment work at high school. I don't
expect you to spoon-feed me direct answers to the questions; just modifications to my current responses. Why is spam attractive to potential advertisers? B/c advertisers become like consumers to the spammers helping spammers make money. What does "semantic" mean as it is used in HTML 5 The future of the Web (smashingmagazine)? The structure of coding to be used in HTML 5. How is HTML 5 going to help shape the web in the future? In your answer discuss the developments in the web in relation to networking and how information will be delivered to our devices. HTML 5 is going to make the relationship between mobiles, computers and the web even more closer. Thank you in advance for your help. |

Spam works, because the cost of sending it is so low. If only a couple people in 10,000 reply to the viagra advert, they make money. You can attempt to manipulate the stock market with it as well, so you don't get money directly from people, a so-called "pump and dump". For your other questions, use Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_5 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantic "The Semantic Web refers to the extension of the World Wide Web through the embedding of additional semantic metadata" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantic_web "The semantic web is a vision of information that is understandable by computers, so that they can perform more of the tedious work involved in finding, sharing, and combining information on the web." Don't quote content from Wikipedia directly in your report :-) Paul |
