MCITP Self-Paced Training Kit

For 70-640,642,643,646,647
WHEN WILL THEY BE FINALLY READY????????????
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

I pre-ordered CENTURIES ago, or it feels just like so.
I decided to go all the way...
I'm bored with Vista stuff... don't looking back to old curriculum. NO WAY.
MS press is just screwing my plans for this year...
I can cancel the order and do the Cisco scary CCNP path.
Salut!

Why are you relying on MS Press? Get off your butt, stop your whining
and get the experience a book cannot teach you.

Re: MCITP Self-Paced Training Kit

I used the 'Introducing Windows Server 2008' book from Microsoft Press to
study for the 70-649 exam. This book was written for the Beta RC1 version of
Server 2008, but it was the only thing available at the time. I think Mitch
Tulloch did a pretty good job with this book. This book was relevant to the
70-649 exam objectives, even though Virtualization in Chapter 3 wasn't
covered on the exam. There are no practice exam questions in this book.
Maybe there are more recent books available now, but this one worked for me.

I also downloaded the 30 day trial of Server 2008 from the Microsoft
website. I installed it on my laptop and used the live OS to study as well
as reading the book. Having a live server to play around with is a great way
try out different configurations. I even used a Cat5 crossover cable to
connect another computer to it and try out different client configurations.
This is a good way to prepare for possible simulation questions too.
