OT: Very interesting info regarding MCITP in Consumer and Enterprise.
FYI. Per Trika's blog located at
http://blogs.msdn.com/trika/default.aspx: The Vista TS certification (which you get by passing exam 70-620) will expire when mainstream product support from Microsoft for Windows Vista expires. The Pro credentials you get by passing 622 and 623 will require re-certification every three years. I sent her an email to verify this. Sort of takes me back to my Cisco training where recertification was necessary to maintain active status. Interesting. -- Michael D. I like it. I was actually waiting for Microsoft to do this. I heard
"rumors" when in Redmond last year, but they were not ready to release the info. It helps keep certified individuals honest with their technical skills. Now if someone would tell CompTIA about this concerning their A+ program. That is a certification, IMHO, that should require recertification after a period of time. -- Michael D. Oh definitely a good move... 'Hi, I'm an MCSE... what's Active Directory?'
doesn't work for me. Re: Very interesting info regarding MCITP in Consumer and Enterprise.
I have talked with Trika. She informed me that Microsoft is not ready to
release the details of the recertification exam. I would think it would be a single exam, or perhaps an updated exam that covers the recent service pack at that time. But this is ONLY SPECULATION on my end and not the expressions of Microsoft or their employees. What's up M? 79 degrees and sunny. Winter is not coming this year. -- Michael D.
