WTF: Flash Player issue
I just went to Adobe.com and downloaded the uninstaller for Flash
Player. I ran it, and it said flash was removed. I rebooted, and I opened youtube with Firefox 2.0.0.17 and saw a flash video playing. ***WTF***. As a test, I loaded youtube with IE. This confirmed that Flash was gone, when I clicked on a video it told me I needed to get Flash Player. I do have the addon Flashblock 1.5.7.1 installed, but I disabled it before I ran the flash remover, and shut down FF. Does FF contain it's own built in Flash player, or what?????? Just to be sure that Flash was removed, I ran the uninstaller a second time, it showed that Flash was gone because it did not do anything (shown in a little click on text file). This makes no sense at all to me...... My main reason for removing Flash is because it's not working correctly on certain sites, using FF. LM |
