Thank-you to all that helped me in this. Today I PASSED!!!!!!!!!! I am so

RE: 70-271 PASSED
Hi Sandy,
Congratulations! That is great news, I am so happy for you! I am also envious, because this week-end I have to study for three exams that I have to take in the next two weeks, and I am going nuts! However with one more cert to add to my signature I'll then take some time off until it is time to study for MCTS and MCITP :) M -- MDG, MCT MCSA (2003), MCSA (2000), MCDST. RE: 70-271 PASSED
Congratulations on passing your MCDST exam Sandy! My name is Neko(female)
and currently I do not have any certifications, but I do have a degree in CIS. I would like to start studying for the MCDST so do you mind telling me the books, CDs, e-learning tools that you used to help you pass. My job depends on this. I would like to go to the source instead of trying something that might not work. I am new in this microsoft community as well. I'll be seeing you around the MS community. Thank you and again Congratulations!!!! "Sandy" wrote: > Thank-you to all that helped me in this. Today I PASSED!!!!!!!!!! I am so > happy, I could cry. Think I'll celebrate and take the weekend off. RE: 70-271 PASSED
Hi Neko,
Welcome to the community. As I have already answered this question I will repost it here: I went out and bought the MS Press books, went through the Readiness Review Suites (which I love!) and passed the two exams yesterday and today. The books you want are: MCDST Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-272): Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on Microsoft® Windows® XP, Second Edition (http://www.microsoft.com/MSPress/books/8771.asp) and MCDST Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-271): Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Microsoft® Windows® XP Operating System, Second Edition (http://www.microsoft.com/MSPress/books/8796.asp) Good luck and let us know how it goes! RE: 70-271 PASSED
The source I used that was of the most value was MCDST Self-Paced Training
kit Exam 70-271. I also used Transcender for the test questions. I found the Transcender questions easier then the questions included with the MCDST self paced training kit, but I needed some variety :-). I had bought the Microsoft elearning course 2261, but found it to be very pricey with little depth, not nearly enough to pass the test, or really learn anything. I also spent a fair amount of time in the knowledge base and researching/learning on various tech sites. Again, the best money spent was the $60 on the MCDST Self-Paced Training kit. -- SkM "Trinity-N-Me" wrote: > Congratulations on passing your MCDST exam Sandy! RE: 70-271 PASSED
I am currently studing for this cert and on the practice tests from the CD i
am having trouble with the type of questions that you have to move from the right box to the left and put them in order. i have no issues with the rest just these type, if you can remeber, were there any of these types of questions on the test? |
