Disconnecting
 

I am using a Dell laptop with buil-in wireless. I connect to my home wireless
network with WEP encryption enable. I connect to the network and works okay
for a few minutes. The it will say on bottom right that "one or wireless
connections are available". Then I have to go back and select connect to my
home network again. Is there anyway to tell it to ignore other networks or
connect only to my network?

Yes. Look in the advanced Wireless settings (right-click on the
connection). There is a place to tell it to only connect to preferred
