Windows 2003 64 Bit TCP Windowing
What's the default TCP window size for Win2k3 Server 64-bit? The reason I
ask is this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/224829) article is for the 32-bit OS, but no mention of the 64-bit. I have an application database running on W2k3 64-bit OS & SQL 2005, and when i run a packet capture on the database server, it consistently sets the sliding window to 17k. Should I expect it to ever get to 64k? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. |

Peter,
Check this tutorial: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tec...lt.aspx?loc=en and see if that helps you to answer your question.
