Windows Connect Now on Wireless Access Point
Hi
Is it possible to configure a wireles Access point with a web interfcae ( using ethernet interface) and use a USB flash disk to transfert Wireles config to Windows PC ? Regards |

Many Wireless Devices (ireless Routers Access point that have Ethernet
interface has a menu entry that let you save the setting to the computer hard drive from where it can be copied to USB drive. However these settings can be used only to configure another device that is the same as the original. Some Wireless Routers have a USB port that can be used to save the info and transfer it to a Windows PC. Search the D-Link site they offer few models with USB. Since it is very easy to configure Wireless manually it is not a popular feature among End-Users. Jack (MVP-Networking).
