Help needed please
Our four day long reinstallation is not going to plan and it maybe time for
us to call a serviceman. Boohoo The communication Bus is confused with two drivers, neither of which like to work and this means that one of the cd players isint recognized, both won't read home made discs. The modem is not installed and the portable hard drive I have is missing communication with Kernel 32dll and so all the help I have on hand by using our other pc to download fixes can't move the data to the effected pc. These fixes won't fit on a floppy. Any advice appreciated. Should I just give up, I don't know why I tried to do this. (pity party). When I remember that it's just a load of noughts and ones I do feel better. Joy |

Hm, we really can't help unless you tell us some basic information, like
what kind of operating system (Windows 98?) and hardware is involved (brand name/type) Thus spake Joy: > Our four day long reinstallation is not going to plan and it maybe time for > us to call a serviceman. The problem was that the motherboard was fairly new and the Windows98se CD didn't have the right drivers and for some reason the motherboard disc of the older replaced motherboard didn't have them either. These should have been saved before formatting I guess, diddums. Sad to see win98 go. The XP install went without a hitch. Joy |
