USB Mass Storage

I have just built myself a new computer and installed XP Pro 64. I am running
2 Samsung HD501LJ HDD's in a Raid0 (Striping) configuration. These are brand
new drives and set as a bootable raid. They show on My Computer as a single
disk (C Drive). In order to transfer files from my old computer I purchased
an Akasa Integral USB Interface and installed a Maxtor 6 L200PO hard drive
from the old computer containing all my files to transfer. Although when
plugged in to a USB port the hardrive shows in the Device Manager and in the
System Information it does not show as a usable drive in My Computer and
therefore I cannot transfer the files from it. I would be grateful for any
ideas.

Many thanks

Re: USB Mass Storage

Go into disk manager and assign a drive letter to the disk.
