Inherited 3COM 4228G 3C17304 Switch and need to determine it's IP address for reprogramming
 

I inherited a 3COM 3COM 4228G 3C17304 Switch and need to determine
it's IP address for reprogramming. It is a managed switch, and I need
to determine it's IP address before I can reset it to default and
configure it for my LAN. I have tried IP and Port scanners, but no
dice, I have no idea what address range the thing is set to. There is
no Reset Switch on the unit (already determined that) - it is a
command line setting after I telnet to the unit.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
