Warnings and Error messages

I recently started getting a Windows Delayed WRITE Failed warning on a IDE
slave drive. Upon reading the eeror event logs I guessed the drive was going
bad based on MS help center. So I got a new drive, new cable but still have
the same problems except with a
new twist.
After booting up everything is fine no error messages, after about 20-30
minutes or less the event viewer starts showing warnings/ disk and
ftdisk, then a couple of plug and play manager errors and then the drive just
dissappears until I reboot then it shows up again. The only thing the MS
help center says is to use the applet to remove the device properly. It's
not a USB drive, it's a IDE, so WTF is the plug and play deal.
Here's the errors from the event viewer.
Anybody?
This is making me crazy/crazier
TIA

Try this and see if it helps.

With Explorer, right click C:\ drive, Properties, Hardware, double
click on your HD, Policies:
Disable write caching

Then download and run Process Monitor
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sys...ssmonitor.mspx
shorter http://tinyurl.com/yg9wqs

Use the filters and filter all but explorer.

Your looking for faultrep.dll you can search for it in the output.

faultrep.dll has something to do with windows error reporting.

But find that DLL and your error is above it, and not far.
