Firefox 2 (latest)
 

Firefox does not remember the desired frame size of its
window upon close. When FF is again started it has
reverted to different shape.

How is this corrected?

close the program, and delete the file localstore.rdf from the FF
profile. Restart FF, reset all your settings to your liking, close FF
and reopen it again. Does it work now?
