Re: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Trial: expiration & etc...
The Windows XP Professional x64 trial last for 120 days. You can find out
this information by clicking Start > Run > type in WinVer and you will see the expiry date on the About dialogue. You need to purchase the full software, no Key for turning the Trial into a Full OEM copy. If you receive the Full version before the Trial expires, you simply do an upgrade and acquire back your Windows Updates. If it expires before you receive, it boot off the CD, accept the F8 license agreement and do a repair upgrade. You can purchase the Full version at the following locations: http://www.planetamd64.com/catalog http://www.ncix.com http://www.directron.com http://www.newegg.com http://www.zipzoomfly.com -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm "Nguyen" <Nguyen@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:DE9CECED-6765-4AFD-86BF-A6EF44D9DD92@microsoft.com... > Hi does anybody knows: > -How long will it expire? > -Before its expiration, will it become full version installation if I > enter > a valid license key? > thanks, > HN |
