Macromedia flash player 8

I visit different sites on the net for information on bands and what not.
Mostly concert dates, and checking up on album releases. I also do searches
for video games and other things like playing online games. But almost every
site I visit I get a bar at the top saying I need to download Macromedia
flash player 8. I HAVE IT ALREADY. I've clicked that bar a number of times,
and it keeps comming back. Does windows 64 bit not install this program?
Everything seems to work fine, but I don't understand why that bar keeps
showing up. Thank you.

You will get this problem if you are surfing under Internet Explorer 64-bit,
try using the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer instead. There is no 64
bit version of Flash 8 available.

Re: Macromedia flash player 8

Flash player 8 will work with Mozilla browsers, but if you download to one
web site, that is the only one which will 'act' like it has the program.
Standby.

Re: Macromedia flash player 8

In this case though, it seems that users preference is probably in IE.
