I blame it on the fact that this group used to talk about movies on
DVD, and DVDs, not a bunch of rip it retards asking about how to rip
off the industry.

Good job, dipshits. You have your own group for this CRAP, yet you
still interlope and invade this group with your cross posted CRAP.

No wonder Norm, and many of the other knowledgeable posters split

I don't think it had anything to do with the pirates, more likely the
lame ass trolls who rolled through a few months back.

It was probably a combination of things: Trolls, piracy talk, fewer
notable DVD releases, fewer controversial topics (Divx, widescreen).
Plus, sadly, usenet in general is less popular now than when a.v.dvd
was first created.

Good observations.

Still, this groups was much better before the rip it retards showed
up.

So was Usenet and the internet in general. Gigs and Gigs of CRAP
floating back and forth each day muck it all up. Then the dopes have
to discuss it endlessly.

That's not likely to happen, as the *reason* MP/DM/JB/whoever this week
posts, is the grade-school thrill-fantasy of getting to be the shadowy,
anonymous, untouchable Lord of his Keyboard, and calling everyone who
looks at him crosseyed "retards" with impunity...For the same reason
that the picked-on kid in class goes home and beats up his action figures.
Also remember about two or three screennames back when he wouldn't even
respond to a thread, or any discussion at all, unless it was
crossposted to the at least three tech/gamerz groups--We already know
what he believes his area of interest is.

....Remember, just because a poster thinks he's a poster, or wants you in
the group to THINK he's a fellow poster, doesn't mean he may actually
*be* one.
