Canon i550 printer follow-on model
 

We have Canon i550 inkjet printers and would like to replace one with the
current Canon model which is compatible (i.e., cartridges, etc.). Would
appreciate the model for the follow-on, next generation printer in the line.

You would do well to ask Canon, but I would recommend the IP5000, for
quality and features.

IIRC that printer used the BCIe3 tanks, and if so you are probably out
of luck to find a current model using the same tanks.

Canon have gone through a couple of series of tanks since that model.

Unfortunately they have been superseded too, and becoming very hard to
find. The replacement uses different tanks.
