'MachineToApplication' Error when trying to compile project...
When I'm trying to compile my web application, I get this error:
'It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.' I was recently given this web application to work on it, and when I try to compile it, that's the first (and only) error I get. Any help is appreciated. |
Re: 'MachineToApplication' Error when trying to compile project...
Make sure that the physical directory in which the files are located in
is configured as an application, or as a virtual directory, in IIS. Use the IIS Manager to configure it. Juan T.
