looking for camcorder

I'm looking for camcorder and have a problem,
which one,
what I need is camcorder for home use but I need
great picture, at least X10 zoom, good in low light
does not have to have all this fancy stuff
and the price to $1000 max.
thanks for your advice

Try the Panasonic PV GS-120, which shoots in widescreen, has the zoom
you're looking for and records in stereo, albeit 12 bits a second.
