And any of these should produce excellent, sharp, clean, quality digital photos, particularly if saving to a RAW mode and putting the final touch on your 'keeper' photos in Photoshop. Frankly, one great advantage of digicams is the ability to lose a lot of photos, to get just the right one. A lot of times you just can't stage a shot, with the slave flashes, and the white umbrellas, for the big coffee table book. Sometimes, stuff happens so fast, and as with most photos, just is never repeated again. You just have to keep shooting and hope what you couldn't see with the eye, shows up as a great photo, that you hit the shutter at just the right moment. You almost have to be lucky, on 'in a zone', sometimes. If you're not shooting that many photos, maybe just drag out the old SLR. And take the film to Costco to get it developed. Peope are still allowed to do that. But this is a digital photo ng. |

Like what? The Canon G5 is a high end non SLR. So is the Minolta A1,
although it looks like an SLR. Both great cameras. dougfollett@bigfoot.com |

Some examples are the Olympus C-5050 and C-5060, Canon G3 and G5 and the Minolta A1. Prices are in the $500-$900 range. John |
