Modelling in the UK

Hi guys,

My girlfriend is desperate to get into modelling but doesn't know enough
about it. I've heard about a company called 'Modelling International' in
Birmingham but they don't have a website which is quite disappointing.

Can anyone give me advice on the best way for my girlfriend to break
into modelling, any UK links (or other newsgroups) would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks :)

The best way is to get involved in a modelling group.a visit to your local
model shop should help, they have a range of modelling kits and advice on
modelling with airfix, revell and many other brands. Also the noticeboard
gives info on group meetings in your area.

Thanks for the info... there does seem to be a lot of scams out there
but hopefully I'll be able to avoid them with those links.

Thanks again

if no go with them do not bother anywhere---do not get suckered into buying
a portfolio etc
Funny how so many blondes go into a cuthroat business that they are
genetically incapable of dealing with.

Pop down to Soho in London, there is a newsagents in Old compton street.

She will be Q'teed many "agents" calling enquiring of her services.
Alternatively, Every friday night outside "that pub" in Greek st in Soho,
Maltese Mario is available for finding work for all "models" that are
