STAT power cable
This might be a stupid question, but does it make any difference at
all which power cable I use for a SATA drive? The drive came with a SATA power cable, but the drive also has a conventional four pin socket for a regular power cable. I've plugged it into the four pin and it works fine. Is it just an extra option or is there a benefit to using the SATA power cable? Thanks. |
