Help needed in choosing from 4 ADD Athlon processors
 

I have narrowed down my choices of processors for my Asus A7N8X
Deluxe Rev 2 MoBo, to the following but since I am totally confused, I
need help deciding which I should buy. My budget was limited to $100
and I realize the XP 3000+ is the superior chip but I'd have to forego
lunch for a month or cut costs elsewhere for MY dream machine. If the
any of others can be overclocked I'd like to know which.

Get the 2500+. It has a Barton core, so you have 512 KB L2 cache, and
it's the cheapest one in your list. Plus, with that MB and PC3200
memory, you can more than likely run the CPU at a 200 MHz FSB at 3200+
speeds very easily.

Building on that recommendation WRT overclocking the 2500+, I picked up
a modding magazine the other day, and they have extensive writeups (two
full pages each) on each of these (and other CPUs). I could probably
find this stuff online, but it's just probably quicker to just grab the
mag. Here's what they (the mag guys) found stable (other experiences
will vary, but it's a start). I'll note the mobo for each, as well...

They also give these benchmarks, before and after: PCMark2002,
3DMark2001SE. If anyone wants those, holler, and I'll add that
information, as well.
