file view in XP

I am so tired of changing the view from 'Tiles' to 'Detail'. Isn't there
some place in XP for me to make a choice that will make 'Detail' the default
view? tia

Re: file view in XP

Open windows explorer, set the view to "Detail".

Then hit "Tools" and then "Folder Options". Under the "View" tab, click the
"Apply To All Folders".....that SHOULD do it....
