Disabling System Restore
 
McAfee suggests disabling the System Restore function on your
operating system as part of recommend anti-virus techniques. What
does System Restore do, and is this good advice?

It is, if you wish to be stuck with an operating system crippled because
McAfee crapware let a virus get through and you don't have any restore
points to fall back upon.
