I had a head scratcher (not hard since I've been doing CSS for a week today...) in my web site that if I used divs or spans for text links, the whole web page content would display differently. Divs seemed to work best. Now that everything almost works in IE 6, I'm able to start thinking about checking in other browsers, and learning how to write for other browsers. The validation REALLY helps, but some issues the validator has I disagree with. Again, all I learned I learned because of what I read here, including following suggested links. My hat's off to you all. Is there a web site that simulated what a web page looks like in other browsers? Andy |

I think I tried that once before, but it didn't work, like the page was down or connection cocked up, etc. I'll pay 10 bucks any day to use browsercam after that demo! I was able to refine my page in a few hours to work cross platform except for Opera 6.0 Mac, which just displayed a blank page! I emailed Opera support, and in detail explained that it does work in Opera 6.05 Mac, and in all other platforms, is 6.0 Mac superseded? This all pretty much is a mystery to me, but the page is looking good not. My one last item that I know of is how to get a gif to position itself ALWAYS in the bottom left corner, even after a screen resize. Any links? I can't quite put it together.
